Terms and Conditions

Last updated 16 August 2026.

These are the terms you accept by using moroccotravellife.com. In them, “we” and “us” mean Morocco Travel Life, an independent publication operated from Rabat, Morocco, and “you” means whoever is reading it. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. They work alongside our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer, and both of those pages form part of these terms.

Using the site

The site is free to read and you need no account to read it. You should be at least 16 to use it, and if you are younger than the age at which you can agree to terms like these where you live, a parent or guardian should agree on your behalf.

You are welcome to read, print and share our work for your own personal, non-commercial use, and to quote a short passage as long as you credit us and link back to the page you took it from. That is how the web is supposed to work.

You may not do any of the following without our written permission:

  • Republish a page, or a substantial part of one, anywhere else, whether or not you credit us.
  • Scrape, crawl or harvest the site automatically at scale, or copy it into a database or an archive you control.
  • Use our text, photographs or data to train, fine-tune or ground a machine learning model, or to build a dataset for anyone else to do so.
  • Present our work as your own, or rewrite it lightly and publish it as original.
  • Interfere with the site, probe it for weaknesses, overload it, or attempt to reach any part of it you have not been given access to.
  • Use the site unlawfully, or in any way that harms another reader.

What belongs to us

The text, photographs, illustrations, maps, charts, layout and design of this site are owned by us or used under licence, and are protected by copyright. Publishing something for free does not put it in the public domain and does not waive our rights over it. If you want to use something of ours beyond the short quotation described above, ask us. The answer is often yes.

Anything you send us

Comments are switched off on this site, so the only route in is the contact form. If you send us a message, a correction, a tip or a photograph, you keep ownership of it, but you give us permission to use it in order to reply to you and, where you have clearly offered it for publication, to publish it with credit. Please do not send us anything confidential, and please do not send us anything that is not yours to send.

If you believe something published here infringes your copyright, defames you, or is otherwise unlawful, tell us through the contact page. Give us the address of the page, identify the material precisely, tell us what right you hold and why you believe it has been infringed, and give us a way to reach you. We read every notice, we act on the ones that are well founded, and we would far rather correct something than argue about it.

Some links on this site are affiliate links, mainly through the TravelPayouts network, and they are disclosed on the page where they appear. If you follow one and book a flight, a hotel, a tour, a car or an insurance policy, that transaction is between you and that company. Their terms govern it, their cancellation policy applies to it, and their customer service handles it. We are not a party to the booking, we take no payment from you, and we cannot amend, cancel or refund anything on your behalf.

The site is provided as it is

We work to keep the site accurate, current and available, but to the extent the law allows it is provided as it is and as available, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, that it will be free of errors or malicious code, that a linked site will still be there, or that it will meet your particular requirements. The implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement are excluded so far as the law permits.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss of any kind arising from your use of this site, including lost profits, lost data, wasted expenditure or a spoiled trip. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for access to the site, which is nothing, since the site is free. Bookings made with third parties through affiliate links are not purchases from us and are not covered by this limit.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some countries and some US states do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the exclusions above apply only as far as they are enforceable where you live.

Changes to the site and to these terms

We may change, move, update or unpublish anything on the site at any time, and we may stop publishing altogether. If we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and where a change materially affects your rights we will give at least 30 days’ notice on this page before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised terms. We do not make quiet changes.

Which law applies, and where disputes go

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site, are governed by the law of Morocco, where we are established, and the courts of Morocco have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, that clause does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. The same applies wherever your national consumer law gives you a right of that kind which cannot be signed away.

Before any of that, please write to us. Almost everything can be settled by email in an afternoon, and we would rather settle it than litigate it.

Language

These terms are written in English. If we publish a translation, it is offered for convenience, and the English text prevails if the two disagree.

If part of this does not hold

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is read as narrowly as necessary to make it valid, or removed, and the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
